Meet the Team

Born and raised in Roebuck, SC. Debbie, Vicky and Ricky have been in the greenhouse & nursery business since teenagers. This 3rd generation company was built on personal relationships and family values. They are passionate about serving and helping beautify their community.

For 33 years, John has been a part of Roebuck Greenhouses. He started as a grower and worked alongside Mrs. Jean McAbee as she taught him the growing aspects of the business. Customers who come to Roebuck Garden Center trust that John will never steer them wrong about their plant needs. 

John now manages the retail aspects of the business. His specialty is container garden basket planting, and anyone who rides through downtown Spartanburg sees his beautiful hanging baskets throughout the city. John's talents are both indoor and outdoor gardening.

Tim came to Roebuck Greenhouses from Happy Plants Inc., in Easley SC as a part-time employee and student at USCS.   In 1990, upon completion of his degree, he became a full-time employee specializing in corporate sales. The business emphasis shifted from big box stores to independents, landscapers and fundraising.  Tim’s role changed as well. He became the head grower and manager of the wholesale and the fundraising divisions overseeing the day to day operations where he remains today.
